Winter Afternoon

It’s been a little more than two months since I posted a barn picture, and over six months since the barn next door has made an appearance on my blog.

Because I love the look of this old barn, and because the clouds of this late afternoon were ridiculously beautiful, I stuck close to home to make the picture for this post.

Referring to Historic Barns of Northern Utah it tells me this barn was constructed sometime in 1914. Depending on the date of completion, roughly 36,865 days have passed since this barn came to be – with clouds passing overhead at sunrise or sunset or any other time of day.

Who knows what tomorrow will bring, but there will never be another sky exactly the same. Here is January 18, 2015’s version of the sky above a landmark old barn:
