Through the Years

Posted on | July 11, 2015 | No Comments

Another day has come to a close, but what a day it was!

Weather wise, a beautiful bright blue sky in the morning gave way to intermittent clouds throughout the afternoon. It was cool enough to be outside, if for no other reason than to enjoy the scenery.

When sunset rolled around I had just enough time to setup next door. I often think about how many times the sun has risen and set over the house and barn next door – the barn is over 100 years old.

As far as sunsets go, it was one to remember as the sky put on an even better show than it had earlier in the day:

Through the YearsOnce again, the clouds took on the color of the fields of grain that dot the landscape in and around town. Absolutely beautiful!

To top it off, the scent of the barley brought back memories from summers spent moving pipe, rounding out the experience.
