Tonight I brought an assistant on a return trip to the bridge over Cutler Reservoir, to capture tonight’s version of the full moon. He’s in a photography class at school and while he’s been working on other assignments this weekend, it would be a great opportunity to get to know his camera better.
After discussing the settings for long exposure shots each of us went to work, comparing our results and adjusting here and there. It was a lot of fun and I’m excited to see how his turn out after trying these new settings with his camera.
Just before we packed up for the night we collaborated on a final shot. Letting him take the reigns of my camera – i.e: remote shutter release – here’s a shot we made together:
With no pizza in the house we resorted to celebrating a successful shoot with ice cream, naturally…
