There are a few places in the valley so remote that when you are there it’s easy to forget about the cities and towns that begin just a few miles away.

If you happen to arrive at such a spot after a storm has blown through, but in time to watch the clouds lifting and moving to the east, it’s a beautiful sight. With no distractions, the silence lets you soak it all in. And if the sunset adds a little color here and there, it just might look like this:
