I’m a hoarder of picture files.
My computer has been bursting with gigs of them.
Granted, I shoot in RAW and that results in large files, but I still hold on to some images way to long. It must be a disease…
Every so often I’ll go through my archives to pare out some of the dead weight. Each time I undertake this task I find images I can live without and off they go to the virtual landfill. I also find images with potential that I’ve never worked with.
Today’s post contains one of those shots. It’s been waiting patiently in a folder on my computer since September 16, 2011. I’ve shot this landmark in the spring and fall of each year, and with so many shots of this subject maybe that is why it sat overlooked.
