Winter! Occasionally it’s cold with snow, but mostly it’s cold and fog or cold and smog. (For reference visit this previous post).
We’re half way through it, but it seems like it’s going so slowly, a feeling that reminded me of the word that became the title of this post.
Doldrums: “A state of inactivity… listlessness or stagnation”.
It’s a routine that repeats day after day, stretching on to infinity. Just before the grey of the season becomes permanent, Mother Nature throws us a bone in the form of a post-storm sunset:
