Colored Contrail

As the sun began to color the thin veil of clouds above the valley this morning, a jet contrail also reflected the light of the coming day:

A short distance further in my travels, a section of open water became a gathering place for Canadian Geese either on a layover or possibly wintering in Cache Valley during an unusual year where the valley floor has been snow-free:
