Brush with Winter

The colors of autumn are falling to the ground, piling up beneath the branches that held them for as long as possible. It’s a sad time, in a way, as our valley creeps towards winter’s renewal.

It’s forecasted that we’ll see mountain snow from a storm this weekend. Here’s a picture of the Wellsville’s at sunrise after such a brush with winter, December 4, 2013:

WellsvillesAfterStormAs we look towards the coming season, thank goodness for the sky, the clouds and the snow capped peaks as they catch the sunrise and pick up where the leaves left off.
