It’s almost the end of December, as well as the end of 2013. But on December 27, 2013, it was also a first.
The first time I have ever visited Temple Square in Salt Lake City to see the lights at Christmas. Spectacular!
I wonder why I waited so long…
I’m glad we took the time to make the trip as a family today. It will be a wonderful memory.
Before sunset we visited the top of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building for an elevated view. We stayed here for some time, to catch more shots of the square after it was lit for the night.
I look forward to working with other images from this trip but for now I’ll post this image taken while the sun was lowering behind the Oquirhh’s to the south, casting a variety of color on this scene:
