That’s about how much time it took to get across the valley this morning. It’s also how late I was as I tried to get to the the spot I wanted to be at for sunrise.
I keep reminding myself that sunrise is a little later each day and pretty soon the school bus will be gone and I’ll have time to be where I want to be at first light.
I didn’t want to waste the beautiful sky so I opted for an old stand-by, to work on my September tradition. It may not have been my original target this morning but I’m not disappointed by the result:
